How a Spiritual Life Coach Will Help You Change Your Life

If you had told me 5 years ago I would be writing a blog post about how a spiritual life coach can change your life, I would have thought you were drunk, in fact I probably was drunk! But here we are, I hope this helps you.

In this blog I explore what a spiritual life coach is (or can be) and how one can help you on your spiritual journey. Perhaps you have been through or are going through a spiritual awakening of some form? Or maybe you just feel a bit stuck in life? Then keep reading…

What is a Spiritual Life Coach?

The term ‘spiritual life coach’ can mean many different things, in fact most coaching has a spiritual aspect to it. Put simply, a spiritual life coach is someone who helps you explore your whole Self, enhance your personal growth and connect with yourself on a deeper level to live a more fulfilled life. Some spiritual life coaches (like me) will also help you bring this into the material world to help you achieve certain goals and pursue your dreams. (I know too well how dreamy it can get in meditation, floating around in the ether, vibrating in a state of bliss, but our souls chose this human journey to live a human life & get a little messy, so it is important we do that to the best of our ability!)

Here Are Some Ways A Spiritual Life Coach Can Help You:

Figure Out Your Purpose (or Dharma and Soul Purpose)

This is what most people in life, knowingly or unknowingly are searching for and will remain unfulfilled unless they find it. Sound familiar?

Yes, it may be someone's soul calling to be an accountant, but it’s not everyone’s. What does your soul want to do? What lights you up? This is what deep inner work with a coach can help you understand.

And if you already know but are afraid to step into it, you’re in the right place because working with the right coach will be like having your own personal cheerleader pushing you forward in the right direction.

Understand Your ‘Self’ (the small self and your True Self and many other aspects)

According to many spiritual philosophies and psychologists like Carl Jung, there are different aspects to us as beings. Jung’s definition of the small self is our ego mind, the survival instinct that basically runs our day to day thinking (and life) if we allow it to. The True Self in Eastern Spirituality is the Pure Awareness that we are outside of the thinking mind, the peaceful witness.

Exploring your whole Self in various ways helps you to separate your ego from the truth of who you are and look at your life on a whole different level. When you can do this, you will realise the fear that your ego creates is merely an illusion as you in your truest nature are simply energy, one with consciousness.

This might be a lot to take in but basically, in our truest essence, we’re pretty magical beings.

Connection with Your Higher Self. Or Intuition. Or the Universe. Or Source. Whatever You Want to Call It.

See above. You in your truest form are Pure Awareness - you already are your Higher Self, that little voice of your intuition is your connection to your Higher Self but sometimes you may need help differentiating this voice from the voice of fear. Clever questioning and guidance from a coach can help you understand this more.

Shadow Work to Love and Accept All Parts of You

Oooh now we’re talking! Shadow work is where the real juicy stuff starts. (Watch this video or read this blog if you’re curious to know more about shadow work.) This is where you start to reclaim the parts of your personality that you have unconsciously rejected and you project onto the people around you. While you’re doing this you are limiting your potential to step fully into your power and experience wholeness.

Wholeness means becoming your True Self and in order to do this you must learn to love and accept all parts of yourself. This is where the fun begins and you really begin to live a fulfilled life. Magic just happens!

How to Consciously Create Your Life

Yes, magic can happen in your life. In case you didn’t know this, you are creating your reality every second. Before you see something in your external world it will have been created in the mind first. It’s science.

You may have read The Secret, or know a little something about the Law of Attraction and manifestation, you may have even done some form of cute manifestation ritual to help call in what you desire only to be wildly disappointed when you didn’t actually win the lottery. (Are you sure you said the affirmations right…!?)

The trick with manifesting is to know that you’re manifesting who you are, not what you want (or you think you want).

A *good* spiritual life coach will help you to become who your soul wants you to be so you can ‘manifest’ your dream life. This means understanding you are already whole, have everything you already need within you and can are already one with your Higher Self.

Wellness and Spiritual Practices to Support You Throughout Life

I know, all of the above may sound a little dreamy, but they don’t call it ‘airy-fairy woo-woo’ for nothing right!? However it is all true and science is backing it up, I googled it.

Coming back down to Earth for a while, burying our toes in the grass, hugging a tree & grounding ourselves… A spiritual life coach will also be able to give you practical wellness and spiritual practices to help support you on this journey.

Such as meditation, journalling and ways to move stuck energy in your body. It may even include an oracle card if you’re lucky. And it could be as simple as getting yourself out for a 30 minute walk in nature every day. (You may not even need a life coach after reading this blog!)

Live a Life of True Freedom - Breaking Free of the Matrix

Want to know how the Universe really works? It’s all a simulation, baby. Created by your mind. And the mind of the all that is. Consciousness. Whoa… trippy.

And the only way of living a life of true freedom isn’t by making loads of money and living off the land in the amazonian jungle… It’s understanding more about your Self and how the Universe works. Freeing yourself of the limited, thinking mind. The ego.

Stepping into the liberation of the True Self - and this is ultimately what a (good) spiritual life coach does, is help you become your True Self so that you can consciously create your life based on your soul’s purpose. What. A. Dream!

Getting serious, a spiritual life coach will mean many things to different people. Some spiritual life coaches are psychic, clairvoyant or read tarot (not me) and they don’t have to be or do any of those things. However, most spiritual guides will be intuitive and will have their own wisdom and experience to support you on your journey.

A spiritual life coach generally practices what she preaches and lives the way she teaches. She walks her talk - so do your research as much as you can to find a Spiritual Life Coach that resonates with you. You can do this through searching ‘About Me’ on their website, Instagram or YouTube. When choosing the right coach for you it is also always best to listen to your intuition and make sure you get a good feeling. If something feels off, it generally is. If something feels a little scary but also exciting, that’s generally a good move to make.

A little about me as a spiritual life coach…

Personally, I mix science with the spiritual to help you get your desired results. I mix psychology with philosophy. It’s all intuitive and based on experience from my own journey such as building my first company to healing from breast cancer. I have learned many a thing on my spiritual journey and I have infused it all into the way I teach.

I am a trained meditation master (300hrs certified), have two certificates in Spiritual Life Coaching and one in Jungian Life Coaching (a form of depth psychology). I am a lover of scientific stuff like quantum physics, neuroscience and epigenetics because of the medical journey I went on when I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer and BRCA1 genetic mutation. I learned the science of how meditation can change your body. I did it. This stuff seriously works!

What I do doesn’t fit into a box but I have found ‘spiritual life coach’ works best for trying to explain what I do… (Sometimes I drop the ‘spiritual’ bit depending on the audience! I try not to scare people away if I am meeting them at a BBQ for example.)

My goal ultimately is to help women who desire a magical life realise true wealth and freedom. It’s that simple, and through my unique methods, we get there - it’s a thrilling ride.

As I mentioned, if you begin to embody some of these teachings I have shared here and do some of the practices you may not even need a coach but if you do and would like to explore working with myself then you can book in a discovery call here.

Keep believing,

Roseanna xx
