Profound Ways Meditation Can Change Your Life
A dedicated meditation practice changed my life & ultimately me as a person, from being someone who was working towards her goals, having regular anxiety attacks and episodes of depression, totally not connected to what was going on in her internal world and believing the world was against her into a woman who is much more chill, still working towards her dreams but aligned with her deeper purpose in life and connected to herself & everything around her. I also know that meditation has helped serious insomniacs cure their sleep deprivation (caused by stress), helped others radically heal illness (it also helped me on my cancer healing journey), helped people love again and find purpose to live.
I have been thinking over the last couple of days about what a regular meditation practice has changed my life and gone into depth about how it can help you too. Here are 3 ways meditation will change your very being and at the end of the video I will run through ‘symptoms’ you might wish to ‘heal’ and give you a specific meditation to help with that.
How meditation can improve your physical, emotional and mental health:
It helps you to regulate your nervous system, certain styles of breathing (especially those used in meditation) can help you take your body out of sympathetic and into parasympathetic which basically means out of stress & into relaxation. Being able to do this at any time you feel stressed is highly beneficial, especially when you’re a goal-getter working hard on your business!
Meditating regularly will mean that you have less stress in your body, your body will stop producing as much cortisol and produce more regulated chemicals for your body. My body was effectively running on cortisol and adrenaline when I was diagnosed with chronic stress at the height of my last business, not a great place to be, this is why so many people burnout!
It helps you work through your emotions, the ones you’re aware of and the ones you aren’t
Working through your suppressed emotions also helps you to lose weight & experience clearer skin - whenever I am going through a difficult time emotionally I notice my skin is more prone to breakouts. Because I am clearing my emotions through meditation I know this is my body releasing what is stuck and I actually celebrate the spots!

It gives clarity of mind meaning you make better decisions
Being dedicated and disciplined in your meditation practice will help you be more disciplined in healthy habits throughout your day, making you more productive which is excellent when you have a business and life to run!
Meditation can have profound effects on you spiritually:
It helps you cultivate a connection with your Higher Self which can offer huge support throughout life
It gives you access to ‘Universal Energy.’ My teacher, Master Dev Om, speaks about the ‘Divine Protection System,’ Having a dedicated meditation practice helps you to connect with universal energy, ‘refilling you’ when you’re in meditation and this builds your divine protection system, meaning when you’re connected on a deeper level, you are protected by unseen forces. This is where faith is important and meditation can help you cultivate that.
It helps you flow with life by inviting in more peaceful flow into your mind.
Meditate for long enough and you will begin to have deep insights that you weren’t aware of before, that’s what happened to me anyway, I wasn’t really aware of my own depth before I started meditating regularly.
Heal past ‘wounds’ and ‘traumas.’ Meditation helps you to make the unconscious, conscious and gives you the ability to heal past wounds & karma. Sometimes this can happen without you knowing and others it will bring stuff into your reality so you can stand in your power and face it.
Improve your manifestation skills. By being in a higher frequency and aware of your unconscious blocks, you are able to consciously create your life more effectively and see your dreams manifest in your life with seemingly little effort (to other people 😛). The most important way that meditation has changed my own life is though, aside from the physical, mental, emotional & spiritual benefits, is because I have been given the opportunity to live a bigger life. A more purposeful life aligned with my soul. I feel a sense of true connection to myself, to consciousness and to those around me. Knowing that we are all one. Do you want to experience this too?
