Dare to Dream: How to Find Your Power Through a Spiritual Awakening
Life has a way of waking you up when you’re dozing. When life does give you a gentle shove to bring you out of your slumber, it can feel scary. Things can start to change. You can begin to question your life and why you’re living it the way you are.
Maybe things in your life do change, maybe you enter a period that can feel like a mid-life crisis or dark night of the soul. Like you have lost your purpose.
If you’re reading this and nodding your head, I want to encourage you to find the confidence within to be bold and dream again. The desires your soul planted in your heart are yours for a reason so don’t forget them when the clouds come, which they inevitably will - we’re human after all.
When the clouds do come, can you be there with them fully as the witness not the victim? Can you love them fully accepting where you are? And can you remember that the sun always shines beyond the clouds?
So even if you are going through a dark night of the soul, spiritual awakening or you’re doing shadow work and things feel a bit overwhelming, remember that the sun is there and will shine in your life again soon.
Having this trust that the sun is still there, that you can still live your dream life, will help this period of your life flow with more ease.
One of the most difficult things for the younger version of me to accept was that with transformation there must be a cocoon phase. No butterfly can emerge until she has turned to mush first. But she always emerges. This faith and trust is where your power lies. Only with acceptance and trust can you become the butterfly.
Here are some journal prompts to help you:
What is my dream life?
How can I bring acceptance into my current reality?
What is one step I can take to move forward today?
Where am I being called to trust?
And below is a beautiful meditation you can do to embrace the transformation of a spiritual awakening.
